Freshman Chris Grahn has specific goals for the current baseball season: “Hopefully JV wins 10 games, and varsity makes playoffs.”
Grahn, who has played baseball for eight years, is now an infielder and pitcher at Moorestown Friends School and is floating between varsity and JV for the Foxes. Besides his ambitions for the team, his individual goal for this season is to get his first varsity hit.
Grahn has played for the Palmyra-Riverton Athletic Association’s baseball teams all his life, and gave us his favorite memory, which came at the Babe Ruth (7th-9th grade) level: “When we were losing 8-0 in the playoffs and came back in 4 innings to win 8-9.”
Grahn’s other sentiment about this season? An enthusiastic “Go Foxes!” Grahn is a talented athlete, which is what makes him this month’s player to watch.
