The Talent Show is making its in-person return on Friday, April 29, 2022. This year’s talent show will also be special considering it’s the first time in two years all four grades will be in the auditorium.
Class President Luke Iacono shared his thoughts on the situation: “This will be the first time in a very long time that everyone will be present in the auditorium at the same time which I think is pretty cool.”
The talent show, hosted by ninth graders Mikelle Smith and Preston Galanis, will be the first Upper School event that the ninth-grade class will have arranged. When asked about the challenge of creating a schoolwide talent show, Iacono mentioned, “I think we feel confident that we are going to be able to rise to this challenge and really just prove ourselves not just as class officers but as a grade in general.”
Ninth Grade Treasurer Mason Levens, who has worked on producing the event, says, “I definitely feel really excited, and I know the other class officers definitely feel the same way. We’ve really put a lot of work into this, and the class as a whole has put a lot of work into this also through the class meetings, so we’re really excited to have the talent show and we hope everything goes well. There has been a lot of intricate planning that went into this.”
Senior Vani Hanamarian expressed, “I am excited to see the talent show, but also to see so many people together in one space again. I see the work that the 9th graders are putting in, and it should be fun!”
There will be over fifteen acts performing this year. The list includes the Dance Team, Richard Farmer ’25, Olivia Neri ’24, and many more.
