On Monday, October 13, students competed in the first event of Spirit Week 2025. In Slimy Fish Toss, participants must play catch with vaseline-covered fish, stepping farther apart with every throw. Whoever drops the fish last wins. Due to inclement weather, the event was held in the Red Gym. This year, junior class came in first place for Team B, and the sophomores and freshman tied for first place for Team A. Photos by Chloe Marshall ’26 and Emmie Huynh ’27.

Chloe Marshall, Editor-in-Chief
Hi, I’m Chloe! This is my fourth year as a proud member of WordsWorth. Before becoming Editor, I was Art Director for two years, and even served on our middle school newspaper prior to joining WordsWorth. Journalism is a huge passion of mine, and so is art, so it’s always my goal to find how creativity can work its way into all types of content. For example, my favorite form of journalism is editorial cartooning. In my free time, I enjoy all sorts of craft-related hobbies that have earned me the nickname “grandma Chloe” by friends and family.
