Promoting civic engagement is, at its core, the purpose of the quadrennial Mock Primary Election. Eric Marsh, Sr., community activist and manager of Community and Engagement for WHYY, delivered the keynote address that encouraged students to harness their individual powers to promote good at the local level by sharing his personal story. In this episode of What’s the Word, Editor-in-Chief Dinah Megibow-Taylor ’24 and Marsh discuss the themes of his address.
