As part of the MFS Mock Primary, many Town Hall Meetings are planned for the upcoming weeks, to give the student populace an opportunity to get to speak the candidates in smaller groups, as well as to allow the candidates to advocate their specific views. These meetings will allow students from both the Upper School and Middle School to speak to candidates: Two Town Hall Meetings for the 5th grade have already happened, and many more are scheduled in the lead-up to election season. In the words of Upper School History Teacher and Mock Primary Election coordinator Judy Van Tijn: “Go MPE!”
A schedule of dates for the Town Hall Meetings can be found below, with all of them intended for Upper School students unless otherwise noted: the specific location for each will be updated on the WordsWorth website as such information is made available. All will take place at 10:22 a.m. on the indicated date.
