“One thing I will miss the most will be the Moorestown Friends community,” said Upper School English teacher Paul Shallers. As the 2013-2014 school year winds down, annoucements have been made that several teachers will not be returning to school next year. Claire Scribner, Andrea Martin, Odette Kugler, Paul Shallers, and Joel Hager will all be moving on to do new things.
Many teachers who are leaving have plans for next year or for their retirement. “I’m so glad I don’t have to do paper grading anymore,” said Shallers, who is retiring to New England. Some teachers will still need to grade papers; Hager, Scribner, Martin, and Kugler will continue their teaching careers elsewhere. All of these teachers will be missed by the MFS community.
