The second art show of the year emerged this winter, featuring exclusively Middle School art, including paintings, drawings, a wire frame sculpture, and a group of ceramic sculptures. The wall still has space unused, so make sure to pay close attention for new pieces. This is the second art show to appear on the Stokes Hall wall this year.
The first show featured legs that were protruding from the wall (sculpted by Middle and Upper School art teacher Michael Webster’s Middle School students), a self-portrait by senior Neil Sefah, a still life drawing by sophomore Brady Sloan, photography by senior Morgan Sloan, pixel art by junior Ray Mayer, and a watercolor by Middle School student Han Nguyen. Some of the Upper Schoolers, as well as a few others, have had their works featured in previous art shows in and out of school (full disclosure: this writer’s work was also featured).
